SAADI, or to give the club its full title, St. Albans and District Gymnastics Club, was formed in 1975. SAADI is a competitive gymnastics club which in essence strives to empower girls to perform gymnastic routines, individually in front of their friends and relatives, as well as audiences at competitions. This is a skill that is developed from day one. Experience has shown us that this confidence transfers across to a whole range of activities that your daughters will encounter throughout life, well beyond gymnastics. The club teaches the sport of Artistic gymnastics on the regulation four pieces of women's Olympic apparatus: vault, asymmetric bars, beam and floor. Girls joining the club will train on all these four pieces under the supervision of Club Leaders and club coaches, so that their ability and agility are developed, in most cases to competition level.
