Management Committee & Voluntary Support Team
We are proud that we are one of the few Gymnastics Clubs, in Hertfordshire, which runs essentially on a voluntary basis. All coaches work together purely for the benefit of the girls. This cannot happen without the cooperation and help of the parents who work in partnership with the coaches. Coaches do not receive payment of any kind, except expenses.
They are here purely and simply because they love gymnastics and like to provide something which is a more special than school or recreational gymnastics.

SAADI coaches give their services on a regular weekly basis in the gym and are very visible to the public but the administrative side of the club is managed outside training hours and is not always so obvious.
The Management Committee and Voluntary Support Teams are largely made up of the parents of our gymnasts and play a vital role in the work carried out behind the scenes to ensure the safe, smooth running of the Club. Committee Meetings take place 4-6 times per year and the support team attends committee meetings as necessary to report or liaise with the Committee.
There are numerous other ways in which these parents support the Club. On the administrative side alone, there are registers to be kept, duty rotas, notice board to manage, newsletters and press releases to prepare, uniforms to fit and reorder, social and fundraising events to organise, not to mention the club management committee duties of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
For the physical and practically minded parents, there is the running of the sessions, coaching, judging and maintenance of the equipment. Our coaching team includes many parents of current or past gymnasts, older and ex-gymnasts. Coaches and judges can start training and qualifying as young as sixteen. Parents who might like to think of training as a coach or judge should please contact a member of the parent’s committee or the Head Coach for more information.
